Where can I find DIY info on cleaning a/c ductwork?
There are not any DIY equipment for this procedure. I design air duct cleaning equipment for a living the most basic system is about $1500. This would be like an Octavac and a TurboBrite Silver pak
Reply:Mix caustic soda with soap solution and spray the mixture generously on the fins and ducting, not forgetting to protect yourself with googles and hand glove as you are dealing with caustic solution. Then after wash off the ducting and fins with very generous amount of water to rid of all dirt's and chemical thoroughly.
Reply:At DIY.com, or ThisOldHouse.com or on the computer.
