My mother have this c0mputer, and it obviously contracted a virus. Big blue screen, inaccessible_boot_device, frozen, no response to any command.
How do I repartition a Dell Optiplex GX1 P.C.? Or find a copy of the manual?

Reply:Try to clean the boot sector of any viruses and perhaps boot the machine in safe mode to clean any viruses and spyware before reinstalling. If you reformat, the boot sector virus will still be there and you'll be back to square one.
