How can I find out the words (in English) of Mozart's Coronation Mass | MASS in C Major ?

Hi,

I have the Choral Score for MOZART's Mass in C major/Coronation Mass (K.317). However all the words for the Choir shall be sung in Latin. What I am after is to be able to print-out the words for this Mass IN ENGLISH, so that I can can comprehend the theology behind the words we shall be singing in the choir. So much hoping someone can help

How can I find out the words (in English) of Mozart's Coronation Mass | MASS in C Major ?
The Coronation Mass is a standard mass setting. That is to say, you have a Kyrie, a Gloria, a Credo, a Sanctus, and a Agnus Dei. If you go to a Catholic or Anglican church on a Sunday, you will hear all of these texts in English (assuming you are in an English speaking country). For convenience sake, here are the texts:

Kyrie:

Lord have mercy

Christ have mercy

Lord have mercy

Gloria:

Glory be to God on high

And in earth peace good will towards men

We praise thee, we bless thee, we worship thee, we glorify thee, we give thanks to thee for thy great glory, O Lord God Heavenly King, God the Father Almighty.

O Lord the only begotten son Jesus Christ

O Lord God, lamb of God son of the father,

that takest away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us,

Thou that takest away the sins of the world, recieve our prayer,

Thou that sittest at the right had of God the Father, have mercy upon us,

For Thou only art holy; thou only art the Lord; Thou only, o Christ, with the Holy Ghost, art most high, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.

Credo:

I believe in one God, the father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things, visible and invisible

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten son of God, begotten before all worlds, God from God, Light from Light, True God from True God, Begotten not Made, of one being with the Father, through him all things were made.

For us and for our salvation, he came down from Heaven, he was made incarnite from the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary, and was made man. He suffered under Pontious Pilate, was crusified, died, and was burried. He decended into the dead. On the third day he rose again, in accordance with the scriptures. He assended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Sprit, the Lord the Giver of life, who proceeds from the father and the son. With the father and the son he is worshiped and glorified, who spoke through the profits.

And I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. I agknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. I look for the ressurection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

Sanctus:

Holy Holy Holy Lord,

God of Power and Might, Heaven and Earth are full of your glory, Hosana in the Highest.

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord,

Hosana in the Highest.

Agnus Dei (next time you are at the airport, see if you can get them to make a call for Ms. Agnes Day. We choir kids will laugh)

Lamb of God, that takes away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us.

Lamb of God, that takes away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us.

Lamb of God, that takes away the sins of the world, grant us your peace.

I cannot promise you that I have an exact translation, but that is the gist of it.
