What is (- c - d)^2, you're supposed to find the product?

Explain please!

What is (- c - d)^2, you're supposed to find the product?
well, as there are no numbers, I'd say your answer would simply be cd squared.

when you square a negative, no matter what it will always be a positive. So, when you have -c and square it, it's like taking -c times -c. A negative times a negative is a positive.

therefore c. Same thing with -d. Squared it would be a positive, and since there are no numbers to plug in for c or d, your answer would simply be cd squared.
