A/C Orifice Tubes. How can u find where its located? How do I get it out?

It's for an '85 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra. It currently has the R-12 in it but recently the Compressor went out. Now, I'm replacing the compressor and I was told I should replace the orifice tube while I'm at it. Where is it at? What does it look like from the outside so I can locate it and replace it? Any other recommendations would be appreciated if applicable.

it will always be at a connection in the high side line. some of the cieras had the orifice tube up near the condensor to stop the hissing noise from being heard inside
