How to change A\C filter at home? and where I can find that filter?

If it is a window unit, the filter is located behind the intake grate where the controls are. The filter is permanent and only needs to be washed.

If it is a central air HAVOC system, The filter is located next to the blower motor. Locate the panel on the unit. Observe how it is attached. Remove panel, remove filter. Replace with appropriate filter. Replace cover. Make sure cover seats properly.

if you are talking about the a/c filter in a car this is called a cabin air filter and if u give year, make, model i can tell u where and how to replace
Reply:You probably don't have an A/C filter, the filter is usually in the bottom section of the furnace.
Reply:I guess it depends on where you live and what type of setup you have...

Usually, the intake cover just comes right off, remove the old filter and put the new one in there - Most likely you can find replacement filters at any hardware store or even Walmart. I would just take the old filter with you.
Reply:look in the garage in the forced air unit or furnace.
Reply:Most often it will be in a ceiling vent. Look for the biggest vent in your house and feel to see if the air is flowing in and not out. The panel covering the filter should remove easily, revealing the filter below. There are literally dozens of sizes of filters, so take the old one with you to the hardware store the first time. The new filter should fit snugly and the pressure of the incoming air will usually hold it in place while you put the cover back on.

Reply:iNFORMATION..............type heat,in the attic, cellar, outside, thru the wall??????????????? is the furnace part of the system???
Reply:It's actually where the heater inlet comes into the heating unit. Just follow the inlet flow duct. Usually the square silver duct work. Same as the A/C filter.
