How do I find the file on my C:?

What does this mean: Setup cannot install system files or update shared files if the files are in use. Before continuing, close any open applications. And where can I find the file that is in use.

that means either some crucial windows files are missing or you have not gotten the full package to install your application.. i would recommend either reinstalling windows or getting a different source for installing that application that you want..
Reply:Dont need to look for the files, just do as set up says, close all applications. That also means if you have any application icons showing in the taskbar by the clock, they are open. Right click on the icons, and then click exit or close, if the icon doesn't give you those 2 options it's not an application. Then carry on witht he installation.

Reply:Reboot your computer. Wait 2-3 minutes abd re-log on. All applications should be closed than for you to save
