You will have a job to find a device for this as C and AA cells are the same length Just wrap tape cardboard or something round them to increase the diameter.
D cells need an adaptor if you want to use AA cells as D cells are longer.
Quite why you would do this beats me unles you have a heap of AA batteries and something which takes Cs

well i heard of a device that lets you use AAA batteries in place of AA batteries... but never AA for C.
And that came with a camera my cousin bought
They looked like some kind of hollow battery, that you could slip a AAA in. With two metal buds at the end.
Just get C batteries...

The AA batteries will not last nearly as long, nor deliver the power that the C type batteris can deliver. For this reason, it is best to pay extra for the C type and avail of the extra they have to offer, rather than try and use the smaller AA type and have to use a lot more of them for to get the same service
