How to find c in quadratic formula when only given 2 points?

Teddy's method for given two points is for y=mx+c, a straight line. It is not a quadratic formula.

Any college algebra book will help.

y=ax^2+bx+c, you might have 2 equations and three unknowns, a,b,c.

How to find c in quadratic formula when only given 2 points?
use the formulae. plug the a's and b's in
Reply:first find the gradient by

(y2 - y1)/ (x2 - x1)

where your points are (x1, y1) and (x2, y2)

sub gradient = m into

Y=mX+c

solve to find c ;)

hope that helped!
