Take it to a shop to get recharged. The over the counter kits do not do everything that is required. yes they add the refridgerant but air needs to be removed from the system for the a/c to work properly. They call the over the counter kits death sentences because they are dangerous to use because they dont fully do what a shop will do for you.

Reply:Katie it is located on the left side of where your engine compartment is and it is that bulbous shaped object in the back the port is nearby on there where the xpansion valve is at it should have a cap on it that is the lowside of the a/c system the highside is up in front where the condenser is,if not sure ask any a/c technician anytime.
Reply:Katie, On my 99 Grand Prix the low side service port is located on the firewall right smack in the middle just underneath the windshield above the engine. It has a black cap on it and is easily accesible.

Reply:On my daughter's 2001 it is located on/near the driver side fender well , The hose connector will only fit the low side service port , and just use enough to get your air compressor running constantly and dont over fill it !
