You could run Disk Fragmenter and it will tidy things and release space

Go to My Computer and right click on your C: drive and click properties, it'll tell you in a easy to read pie graph.

Reply:first go to my computer . whatever is the name of your hadrive (local disk , Main ) you must right-click and select propities. you will no see a diagram and details about your size and hardisk

Reply:open "My Computer", right-click "Local Disk (C:)" then click "Properties"
Reply:simply go to my computer and place your cursor over the icon for local disc C. you may have to left click. a display will appear telling you the size of your hard drive how much has been used up and how much clear space you have.

Reply:double click on 'my computer' then right click on your c drive or local disk(both the same) and properties and there should show how much space you've got left.
Reply:click on my computer then click just once on local disk (C:) then at the side of the window it should tell you how much space has been used and how much is left
